Police in Durham, NC, planned to charge as many as 24 people as the result of a massive brawl at Jordan High School in September. Nine suspects, including numerous students at the school, were arrested the day of the fight on charges of inciting to riot, disorderly conduct and second-degree trespassing.

Police said they believe that the brawl, which erupted as school was letting out, was gang-related. The school district was planning disciplinary action for at least 16 students they believe took part in the melee.
